The DUAL Internal Printhead Tube is a guidance part for Volumic DUAL-type printheads. Positioned within the printhead assembly, it routes the filament between the drive system and the melt zone to maintain a consistent feed during FDM extrusion cycles.
This maintenance consumable contributes to filament path stability and correct operation of multi-material or dual-extrusion prints. Replacement may be required in the event of internal wear, fouling, or degradation due to repeated thermal and mechanical stress.
Maintenance and implementation
Replacing the internal tube restores controlled extrusion conditions on compatible printheads and limits the risk of excessive friction, under-extrusion, or filament blockage. This part is suited to preventive maintenance in professional environments or production workshops.
The pack includes two internal tubes, each 66 mm in length, designed for compatible Volumic DUAL systems. Installation must be carried out on a cooled and disassembled printhead, in accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance procedures.
