Reciflex is a TPU made from 100 % recycled material, sourced from the footwear industry and from Recreus production scrap. The material is sorted and magnetically screened to remove metal particles, then pigmented black to obtain a consistent shade from batch to batch.

Its Shore hardness of 96A to 98A places it among the stiffest TPUs in the range, which makes extrusion easier. Recreus highlights its resistance to solvents and cites uses such as protective cases, drone bumpers, robotics wheels and industrial prototypes.

Printing behaviour

The manufacturer specifies 245 °C with 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm nozzles, up to 250 °C with 1.0 mm, with a volumetric flow of 4.5 mm³/s at 0.4 mm. The line width matches the nozzle diameter. Retraction of 1.8 to 2.5 mm at 40 mm/s at 0.4 mm, cold bed for small parts and 50 to 55 °C for large ones, fan off except on layers shorter than 20 seconds. Drying at 55 °C for one hour before printing.
