Prusament TPU 95A is a thermoplastic polyurethane filament with a hardness of 95 Shore A, intended for flexible parts that must keep their elasticity in service: seals, dampers, guards, cable grommets. The 500 g spool carries a rewritable NFC tag based on the OpenPrintTag standard.
Its low moisture uptake and its hydrolysis resistance limit changes in the material during storage and in service.
Printing behaviour
Extrusion runs at 230 °C ± 10 °C on a bed heated to 65 °C ± 10 °C, with a 0,4 mm brass nozzle. Drying before printing is recommended.
The material is not printed directly on a smooth PEI surface: nylon PA plates and satin powder-coated surfaces are the ones specified by the manufacturer. For a part meant to work under repeated flexing, increasing the number of perimeters and the infill rate improves durability.
Performance in service
The material keeps its flexibility down to -50 °C and shows a heat deflection temperature of 78,6 °C at 1,80 MPa. It resists oils and greases, wear and microbial degradation, which covers workshop uses and components in contact with technical fluids.
