Prusament Resin Flex80 prints flexible parts whose behaviour comes close to hard rubber, a shoe sole or a tyre. Elongation at break reaches 60 % after 60 minutes of curing in the CW1S.
The material absorbs energy and damps impact, with slow relaxation and a gradual return to its original shape. Final properties are only reached after extended curing, during which stiffness, hardness and ductility increase. Elevated temperature helps carry that curing through.
Print settings
The Flex80 family prints on SLA machines exposing between 370 and 410 nm, with development aimed at 405 nm sources. On large or complex parts, Prusa recommends a high support density, around 200 %, a penetration depth of 0.6 mm, and a high viscosity profile with slow tilt and Z-hop. Note that the flexible resin stays less resilient than a flexible filament and can crack if bent too far.
