Prusament Resin Flex prints flexible parts whose appearance and mechanical behaviour follow those of soft tissue, organs, skin and tendons. Prusa intends it for gingiva masks, gum models and anatomical models used in training and procedure planning.
The resin combines short exposure time, high resolution, low shrinkage, low viscosity and firm platform adhesion. The two colours mix with each other to adjust the shade of pink and match the colour of a specific organ.
Working with the material
The formulation was developed for the Original Prusa Medical One and SL1S SPEED, with exposure down to 3 seconds per layer thanks to the monochrome screen, the UV source and the fast tilt mechanism. It remains usable on third-party MSLA machines. Odour during printing is low and the low viscosity makes filling and cleaning the vat easier.
