Spring steel sheet with a double-sided PA Nylon powder coating, designed for the heated beds of Original Prusa printers. Its surface finish was developed for the adhesion of polyamide filaments, in particular Prusament PA11 Carbon Fiber Black. PETG also adheres to it, while other materials tend to detach during printing.
Care and use
Clean with plain water, adding a drop of dish soap on greasy areas if needed. Isopropyl alcohol and acetone quickly degrade the coating and must not be used. No glue stick is required.
With use, the surface gradually becomes glossier. Marks appear at the Z-axis probing points, with no effect on adhesion.
