The Nextruder V6 Nozzle Adapter is an interface part designed by Prusa Research to make the Nextruder extrusion platform compatible with V6-standard nozzles. It opens the Nextruder ecosystem to the wide range of existing third-party nozzles in V6 format (brass, hardened steel, nickel-plated, ruby-tipped, diamond-tipped, in various diameters), without mechanical modification of the original hotend.
Implementation
The adapter mounts on the Nextruder hotend in place of the standard Prusa nozzle interface. The V6 nozzle is then threaded onto the adapter following the standard V6 format procedure. The V6 nozzle is not included in the delivery and must be ordered separately.
Prusa Research provides a detailed installation manual on its online knowledge base, to be consulted before any intervention to ensure compliant assembly and preserve the hotend's thermal regulation.
