Use
Most high-performance materials are strongly hygroscopic: they absorb ambient moisture, which degrades their performance to the point of making them unprintable. The UF55 reduces the moisture content to an optimal level thanks to forced air circulation with adjustable fan speed and an electronically controlled air flap.
Once the filament is dried, it is recommended to transfer it directly into a drybox to prevent any reabsorption of moisture. With its 53-litre chamber, the UF55 handles several spools simultaneously, which makes it a solution suited to workshops operating a multi-machine fleet. The oven can also be used for the annealing (post-crystallisation) of printed parts, in order to improve their mechanical and thermal properties.
Construction and use
The chamber and shelf are made of stainless steel, hygienic and easy to clean. The interface allows all variables to be controlled, with an adjustable timer from one minute to 99 days. Note: this product operates on 230 V and is not available in countries with a 100-120 V electrical grid.
