LOCTITE 3D IND405 HDT50 is a technical photopolymer resin formulated for applications requiring a good balance between mechanical strength, elongation and impact resistance. Intended for compatible DLP and MSLA processes, it enables the production of functional parts, jigs, housings and tooling with controlled rigidity and a homogeneous surface finish.

Its single-component formulation simplifies implementation in prototyping or production environments. After UV curing and post-processing, the resulting parts retain mechanical properties suited to technical applications subject to repeated loading.

Mechanical behaviour and post-processing

IND405 HDT50 is distinguished by high impact resistance combined with a high elongation rate for an engineering-type resin. This combination limits the brittleness typically observed in standard resins and improves the performance of functional parts in everyday use.

The material can be machined, drilled, tapped or polished after printing depending on finishing and assembly requirements. Several references and finishes are available depending on production needs and visual inspection requirements.

Industrial applications

This resin is suited to functional prototyping, manufacturing aids, geometric validation parts and small-series components requiring dimensional stability and mechanical strength. It is also suited to R&D environments and workshops looking for a technical resin compatible with industrial post-processing cycles.
