Printing behaviour
TPC-91A extrudes at 260 °C on a bed heated to 60 °C, at a speed of around 44 mm/s. As a thermoplastic elastomer, it proves easier to feed and print than most flexible filaments, which limits feeding issues at the extruder.
Its elongation above 500 % and its no-break impact behaviour make it a consumable suited to soft parts subjected to repeated deformation. Direct-drive extrusion is generally preferable for flexible materials.
Composition and applications
Composed of a rigid ester block and a soft ether block, TPC-91A combines flexibility, elasticity and chemical resistance. It is used in industry for sectors such as electronics, textiles and roofing waterproofing membranes, as well as for decorative and hobby 3D printing.
Store away from light, moisture and heat in order to preserve the product's properties.
