Printing behaviour

PLA-R prints at an extrusion temperature of 200 to 210 °C, on a heated bed of 40 to 60 °C, at a speed of 40 to 70 mm/s, with no odour released. Accessible to beginner operators, it offers a smooth, glossy surface as well as limited shrinkage, characteristic of PLA.

With a glass transition temperature of 61 °C, it is intended for indoor use; for parts exposed to heat or high mechanical stress, a PETG or ABS from the range will be preferred.

Recycled origin and applications

PLA-R contains at least 97 % recycled material, and 100 % for the natural version, the only one certified biodegradable according to the NF EN 13432 and NF EN 14995 standards (for a thickness of 1 mm). Its rigidity and ease of processing make it suitable for visual prototypes, validation models, jigs and tooling.

Store in a dry environment, away from light and heat, in order to preserve its extrusion properties.

About Kimya

Origine : France
