Industrial applications and composite tooling

Dahltram C-250CF is developed for applications requiring high mechanical strength, good thermal resistance and controlled geometric stability. This material is used for manufacturing functional prototypes, jigs, assembly fixtures, production aids as well as low-volume parts intended for operational use.

Its carbon-fibre filled modified polycarbonate structure also allows the production of master models, moulds and composite tooling intended for low- and medium-temperature processes.

Material behaviour

The carbon reinforcement improves the overall rigidity of the material while limiting the deformation phenomena linked to printing. Dahltram C-250CF offers good dimensional stability as well as thermal resistance suited to industrial environments. The material is compatible with vacuum applications and autoclave processes, and can be machined to obtain the required tolerances and surface finishes.

About Kimya

Origine : France
