Kimya ABS-ESD is an ABS, a polymer of the styrenic family, with an added antistatic additive. Printed parts have a surface resistivity between 10⁷ and 10⁹ ohms according to ASTM D257: they dissipate electrostatic charges instead of accumulating them.
The material is intended for parts placed in contact with or close to electronic components, such as housings, holders and assembly jigs. It retains the low weight, stiffness and impact resistance of a technical ABS.
Printing behaviour
Kimya recommends a nozzle at 260 °C, a bed between 95 and 100 °C and a speed of 25 to 50 mm/s. Store the filament away from light, humidity and heat.
