LOCTITE 3D IND403 Black is a high-modulus photopolymer resin with good temperature resistance, formulated for industrial DLP printers. It produces parts with a clean surface finish and high dimensional accuracy, with a heat deflection temperature of 81 to 83 °C at 0.455 MPa after post-processing.
Henkel primarily targets tooling: moulds for silicone casting, low pressure moulding and open-mould PU moulding. Parts withstand mechanical stress and keep their dimensional stability over multiple cycles, allowing fast process iteration. It is also suited to automotive interior parts.
Processing and post-processing
Shake the bottle before use. Henkel recommends a resin temperature of 20 to 45 °C and an intensity of 3 to 7 mW/cm². After printing, remove the supports, clean in IPA (2 minutes, once or twice), dry with compressed air and wait 60 minutes before post-curing, which is required to reach the stated properties: for example 20 minutes per side under a Loctite CL36 at 405 nm.
Store the closed bottle in a dry place, between 8 and 30 °C. Recovered resin is filtered at 190 µm before being returned to its container.
