The Hotend Heatsink is an original Prusa spare part for the hotend assembly of the Nextruder system, fitted on Prusa MK4, MK4S, MK3.9, MK3.9S, XL, and CORE One range printers. The part ensures thermal dissipation from the upper part of the melt chamber and limits heat creep towards the cold zone of the filament tube, which prevents heat creep and clogging during printing.
Contents and replacement
The delivered assembly includes the hotend heatsink and the original Prusa load cell, a force sensor used by the Nextruder for automatic first-layer calibration and nozzle/build plate contact detection. Replacement is typically performed in the event of repeated calibration failure, filament clogging due to abnormal heatsink heating, or as preventive maintenance after intensive production use. The part is not compatible with MK3, MK3S, MK3.5/MK3.5S, MINI, HT90, or Prusa enclosure generations: verify the printer model before ordering.
Installation must follow the Prusa repair manual corresponding to the model, available on help.prusa3d.com.
