This 24 V, 40 W heater cartridge is the replacement heating element for the hotend of the Original Prusa MK3, MK3S and MK3S+. Inserted into the heater block, it brings the melt zone to the extrusion temperature controlled by the firmware.
Installation
The cartridge is supplied on its own: the Molex connector is not included and is ordered separately. Prusa states that it is not compatible with the MK2/S, MK2.5/S and MINI/+. Replacement follows the repair manual published by the manufacturer for each printer model.
