Sale price €33,29 excl. VAT Regular price

Rose FME PETG filament certified PMUC (Products and Materials Usable in Power Plants) by EDF, extruded by Francofil in Normandy. Its halogen and sulphur content is controlled to limit the risk of stainless steel corrosion, and its pink colour identifies tooling in foreign material exclusion (FME) areas.

PETG offers better mechanical and chemical resistance than PLA while remaining easier to process than ABS or ASA. It is the material to choose for functional parts under moderate loads.

Processing

PMUC PETG prints between 235 and 260 °C on a bed heated to 60 to 90 °C, without a closed enclosure. A glue or bed adhesive makes adhesion and part removal easier. Target applications are jigs and fixtures for controlled areas, sensor brackets, custom housings and functional prototypes before machining.

About Francofil

Origine : France
