Rose FME ASA filament certified PMUC (Products and Materials Usable in Power Plants) by EDF, extruded by Francofil in Normandy. It combines a controlled halogen and sulphur content, required in nuclear facilities to prevent stainless steel corrosion, with a pink colour for identification in foreign material exclusion (FME) areas.
ASA resists UV, weathering and impact, including at low temperature. PMUC ASA is intended for end-use parts, heavy tooling and outdoor applications on nuclear sites.
Printing conditions
ASA requires a printer with a closed enclosure and a bed heated to 90 to 110 °C, to limit shrinkage and corner lifting. The nozzle works between 240 and 270 °C. A PEI surface, BuildTak or an adhesive spray ensure first-layer adhesion.
