Function
This cable connects the filament sensor to the printer's Einsy control board. It carries the sensor signal, used to detect the presence of filament and signal a spool run-out or jam, functions that allow the print to pause automatically.
As a spare part, it replaces a damaged or faulty cable causing filament detection errors.
Use
Replacement is carried out following the procedure in the Prusa repair manual for the relevant printer model, available in the manufacturer's knowledge base. The product includes one cable.
