Set of three removable spring steel print sheets for the Prusa CORE One, CORE One+ and CORE One+ (Gen 2). It includes a smooth PEI sheet, a textured powder-coated sheet and a satin powder-coated sheet, all fitted onto the printer's heated bed.
Having all three surfaces lets you choose the adhesion and the finish of the underside of your parts according to the material being printed, without changing the bed.
Choosing the surface for each material
The satin sheet sits between the smooth and textured sheets, in adhesion as well as in finish. It suits PLA and PETG, with no glue needed for the latter, and gives better results than the other two finishes on polycarbonate; a layer of glue stick is then recommended for frequent use. ASA and PC Blend require a brim or a shield around the part.
Acetone quickly damages the satin coating, and parts must not be removed with a metal spatula. The Live Z value has to be readjusted each time the sheet is changed. The coatings are consumables: their wear is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
