The Revo HT nozzle is intended for materials printed above usual temperatures. The nozzle and its spreader are made of copper to optimise heat transfer, then the assembly receives a chromium nitride coating. This coating protects against corrosion and reduces material adhesion, for printing up to 500°C.
Preassembled with its heatbreak, the nozzle is changed by hand, cold, on any Revo hotend. HT nozzles are grey and have their diameter engraved.
Operating temperature
With the 40 W and 60 W Revo HeaterCores, the temperature remains limited to 300°C. To print up to 500°C, E3D recommends a Revo High Temperature hotside.
