The Revo High Flow HT-Abrasive nozzle brings three capabilities in the standard Revo format: high flow, temperature capability and abrasion resistance. A hardened steel tip, a copper carrier and spreader and a chromium nitride coating provide wear and corrosion resistance. The High Flow internal geometry increases the heat exchange surface to extrude more material per second.
Existing mounts and fan ducts stay in place. The nozzle is preassembled with its heatbreak and supplied without a silicone sock.
Temperature and materials
With the 40 W and 60 W Revo HeaterCores, the temperature remains limited to 300°C. To print up to 500°C, E3D recommends a Revo High Temperature hotside. Some heavily filled materials, including Polymaker's PolyMide range, can cause significant wear on this nozzle. A Z offset adjustment may be needed after a nozzle change.
