Properties and applications
Made from an approved food-grade PET, a material widely used for food and beverage containers and bottles, Ultrafuse PET offers good impact resistance, good thermal stability and good interlayer adhesion.
It is an alternative to ABS, with the advantage of printing at temperatures close to those of PLA and being only slightly prone to lifting (warping) during printing.
Printing behaviour
The manufacturer recommends a heated bed temperature of around 75 °C, a print speed between 30 and 70 mm/s and a printing temperature between 200 and 220 °C.
Supplied on a standard spool, this filament prints on most non-proprietary FFF 3D printers.
