Printing behaviour
Ultrafuse PET has a wide print window (temperature depends on speed), making it usable on most FDM printers. It delivers good interlayer adhesion, high resolution and simple handling, without the need for an enclosed chamber.
It prints at a nozzle temperature of 210–230 °C on a heated glass build plate at 60–80 °C, at speeds of 40 to 150 mm/s, with a minimum nozzle diameter of 0.4 mm.
Applications and compliance
Ultrafuse PET is based on a granulate compliant with the European regulation on plastic materials intended for food contact, and has been evaluated for food-contact 3D printing under LFGB and Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 (compliance to be validated for the intended final application). The material is 100 % recyclable, watertight, and offers good colour stability and controlled surface quality.
