Isopropyl alcohol diluted to 70%, supplied in a 250 ml spray bottle and manufactured by Höfer Chemie. The sprayer applies IPA directly onto the part, with no immersion bath. It covers two workshop uses: smoothing parts printed in Polymaker PolySmooth filament and cleaning resin prints.
Smoothing PolySmooth parts
Spray the alcohol onto the surface of the part, then let it dry. Repeat as many times as needed to obtain a smooth, glossy surface finish. On resin prints, the same spray is used to clean parts after printing.
Precautions for use
Wear gloves and a mask during application, and work in a ventilated room. Read the safety data sheet before first use.
