Function
This spray deposits a fine, uniform matt layer of approximately 7 µm, optimising contrast values for optical scanning of dark, reflective, transparent or highly textured surfaces. It stays in place until it is removed manually, which suits long scanning sessions.
It contains pigments, a propellant and a solvent, but is free of titanium dioxide, a substance classified as carcinogenic by inhalation by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
Application and precautions
Once scanning is complete, the coating is removed by cleaning or rinsing the part; it is not designed to disappear on its own. It remains compatible with the adhesive reference points used in photogrammetry.
This product is an aerosol: keep away from open flames and sources of ignition, protect from sunlight (maximum temperature 50 °C) and never pierce or burn, even after use.
