AESUB White is a pigmented semi-permanent matting spray for preparing parts before 3D scanning. Sprayed at 15–20 cm from the surface, it deposits a fine white, matt, opaque and non-slip layer, optimised to create the contrast necessary for capturing fine details with structured light, laser triangulation or infrared light technologies. Its formulation is particularly suited to transparent, shiny, mirror-like parts or parts with deep cavities.
Unlike the volatile sprays in the same range, the AESUB White coating remains on the part after scanning and must be removed by cleaning: this semi-permanent character makes it a proven solution for long, multi-pose scan sessions or large parts where coating stability takes priority over automatic sublimation. The formulation is free of titanium dioxide (TiO₂), classified as carcinogenic by inhalation by ECHA.
Application
Shake the can before use, then spray at 15–20 cm from the part with regular sweeping movements to achieve a uniform layer. The solvent evaporates within a few seconds, pigments remain on the surface as a coating. Scanning can begin once fully dry. After use, the part must be cleaned with a soft brush and a water-dampened cloth. Note: do not spray near sensors or sensitive measuring instruments, as the product contains pigments that can contaminate the immediate environment. In these cases, prefer a volatile pigment-free variant from the same range.
Precautions and storage
Extremely flammable aerosol under pressure: keep away from all heat sources, hot surfaces, sparks or naked flames. Do not expose to above 50 °C, do not pierce or burn, even after use. Use in a well-ventilated area, appropriate PPE recommended. Store in a dry location between 18 °C and 21 °C, protected from sunlight. Minimum shelf life of 3 years.
