White Resin V4.1 is an opaque white SLA resin with a matte finish, used for prototyping and presentation models. The V4.1 formulation gives a brighter white than V4.
The opacity of the material and the absence of gloss bring out edges and fillets, which remains useful during a design review or a visual shape check.
Finishing and painting
After washing and post-curing, the surface accepts a primer or paint directly, without prior mechanical preparation in most cases. The white base reproduces light shades without drift, unlike a grey or black substrate which darkens them.
For a part intended for dimensional inspection, the minimum layer thickness of 50 µm sets the limit for reproducing fine details.
