PLA Fusion from TreeD Filaments is a PLA filament formulated specifically for long-duration prints. Its composition is optimised to limit nozzle clogging during extended extrusion, making it a reference suited to continuous production workshops and printers equipped with all-metal heater blocks.
Odourless during printing, the filament maintains consistent diameter and colour throughout the spool, including at high throughput. It is available in several colours.
Printing behaviour
PLA Fusion prints in the 190–210 °C range with a heated build plate that can be set up to 70 °C, without plate heating being strictly necessary. Its formulation controls shrinkage phenomena and tolerates profiles with numerous retractions, making it suited to parts with complex geometries and long continuous print runs.
The material remains stable on all-metal extruders, which are known to be prone to clogging with standard PLA.
Applications
PLA Fusion is aimed at prototyping workshops, design offices and production operations manufacturing medium to large parts, continuous series or multi-part prints. It is suited to functional prototyping not subject to high thermal stress, study models, presentation parts and light tooling, provided the service temperature remains below the material's Vicat point.
