The SH65 magnetic glass-ceramic build plate is a replacement part for Volumic SH65 3D printers and their IDRE and Performance variants. It is made from a glass-ceramic material combining the flatness of a glass surface with the thermal resistance of a technical ceramic.
Its magnetic fixing allows direct installation and removal from the printer cradle, with no screwing or special tools required, simplifying maintenance in production environments.
Print behaviour
The glass-ceramic surface provides controlled flatness across the entire print area, a prerequisite for consistent first-layer quality in FDM.
The material withstands repeated heating and cooling cycles and retains its geometry over time, making it a proven solution for repeated print runs in prototyping workshops and production environments.
Installation
Installation is carried out by simply placing the plate on the machine's magnetic cradle. No additional mechanical fixing is required: the integrated magnets provide the hold. This design allows quick swapping in the event of wear and enables off-machine flat cleaning of the plate if needed.
