Volumic PETG Ultra is an industrial-grade PETG/PCTG filament formulated for professional applications requiring both good mechanical strength and a refined surface finish. The raw material is selected to limit stringing during printing, which reduces post-processing operations on functional and presentation parts.
The filament prints at a lower temperature range than the average technical PETG, simplifying integration across heterogeneous machine fleets. It is available in several colours and spool weights to cover prototyping, short runs and functional part production.
Printing behaviour
PETG Ultra prints at 230 °C at the nozzle, on a heated build plate at 60 °C. The manufacturer rates processing as easy and build plate adhesion as normal, making it accessible to operators with basic FDM knowledge. The very low stringing directly improves the visual quality of parts, particularly on multi-traverse geometries. The filament accepts all standard nozzle types without abrasivity constraints and does not require an enclosed chamber for the majority of geometries.
Mechanical properties and applications
The PETG/PCTG formulation combines the mechanical strength characteristic of PETG with some flexibility and high impact resistance, qualifying the material for functional parts subject to moderate dynamic loading: electronic components, workshop jigs, technical utensils and protective covers. The surface finish, rated as excellent by the manufacturer, allows direct end use or presentation without post-processing.
