Magigoo Pro PPGF comes as an applicator pen with a marker-type tip, which allows a thin, even layer to be deposited over the whole print plate with no aerosol or dispersion. The adhesive is intended for heated beds: it ensures adhesion of PP-GF during heating, then releases the part as soon as the plate cools, eliminating the need for a spatula and preserving the printing surface.
Using Magigoo Pro PPGF significantly reduces the warping encountered on glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene parts, particularly marked on large footprints.
Applications
PP-GF combines the chemical resistance and light weight of polypropylene with the rigidity and mechanical strength provided by glass fibres, but it inherits the very low native adhesion of PP. Magigoo Pro PPGF targets series-production and technical-prototyping workshops using these composites for parts under mechanical stress (jigs, fixings, lightweight structural parts), by ensuring reliable, repeatable adhesion over long cycles.
