LOCTITE 3D PRO410 is a high-precision rigid photopolymer resin developed by Henkel for additive manufacturing by vat photopolymerisation (DLP and LCD) at 385 nm. The formulation is optimised for fast print speed and high surface quality, making it a proven material for machine calibration and setup, and for rapid prototyping of precise parts.

The resin is available in several colours. The post-processed part has a tensile modulus of approximately 1900 MPa and a Shore D hardness of 71–73.

Mechanical and thermal behaviour

Post-processing tensile strength is 47–49 MPa with an elongation at break of 4–6 %. In bending, modulus reaches 2481–2517 MPa with a maximum stress of 82–86 MPa. Notched Izod impact is 20–28 J/m. Heat deflection temperature (HDT) is 66–76 °C at 0.455 MPa and 51–55 °C at 1.82 MPa, with a DMA glass transition temperature (Tg) of 80–84 °C. The resin is thus suited to parts exposed up to approximately 60 °C.

Processing and post-processing

The resin prints at 385 nm on DLP and LCD, at an intensity of 4–8 mW/cm² and between 20 and 25 °C, with a typical layer thickness of 100 µm. Post-processing involves ultrasonic IPA bath cleaning (2 × 2 min), compressed-air drying, then a one-hour wait at ambient temperature before UV post-cure (405 nm LED or broad-spectrum lamp 365–380 nm depending on equipment). An ISO 10993-23 (irritation) biocompatibility evaluation is documented as compliant by the manufacturer.
