LOCTITE 3D IND405 HDT50 is a technical photopolymer resin designed for applications requiring a balance between mechanical strength, impact resistance and moderate thermal stability. Compatible with DLP, LCD and MSLA processes, it enables the production of functional parts with good dimensional precision and a homogeneous surface finish after printing and UV post-processing.

Its polyurethane formulation is suited to the production of functional prototypes, jigs, housings or technical elements subject to repeated mechanical stresses. Several references and finishes are available depending on production needs and integration constraints.

Mechanical and thermal behaviour

IND405 HDT50 combines rigidity, impact resistance and high elongation for a technical engineering-type resin. This combination limits part brittleness while maintaining good mechanical strength during assembly operations or repeated handling.

After UV curing, parts retain a heat deflection temperature suited to advanced prototyping environments and industrial applications not exposed to extreme temperatures. The material can also be drilled, machined or sanded according to finishing requirements.

Applications and implementation

This resin is suited to prototyping workshops, R&D departments and industrial environments looking for a technical material for the production of functional parts, tooling or validation components. Its controlled viscosity facilitates processing on compatible resin printers using professional DLP or MSLA processes.
