Validated by Henkel in collaboration with Prusa Research for use on the SL1S SPEED platform, this high-toughness resin combines impact resistance, dimensional stability and mechanical behaviour suited to functional parts.
Its formulation delivers a homogeneous surface finish and good handling resistance after curing. It is suited to the production of jigs, fixtures, manufacturing aids, covers and housings requiring controlled mechanical performance at ambient temperature.
Post-processing and implementation
The manufacturer recommends a specific post-processing protocol to ensure the stated mechanical properties. Cleaning can be carried out using a mixture of Loctite 3D Printing Cleaner C, compressed air and IPA before final curing.
The resin has moderate thermal resistance with an HDT of 63 °C, which makes it primarily suited to technical applications not exposed to sustained high thermal stresses. The range is available in several references and colours depending on production needs.
