Super Lube PTFE lubricating oil is a patented synthetic lubricant charged with Teflon (PTFE) particles suspended in 100% synthetic grease.
Its petroleum- and silicone-free formulation is designed for lubricating the mechanical components of 3D printers: linear guides, lead screws, smooth rods, bearings, and friction zones subjected to repeated cycles in intensive prototyping and serial production environments.
Technical properties
The suspended PTFE forms a film that reduces friction and protects metal surfaces against mechanical wear and corrosion. The formulation is non-corrosive, does not oxidise, and does not harden over time, helping to extend maintenance intervals.
The product is neutral towards plastics, paint, rubber, and wood, and retains its properties in the presence of fresh, salt, hot, or cold water. It is classified as food-safe according to the manufacturer's specifications.
Application
The lubricant is applied in a thin, controlled layer to the areas to be lubricated, after prior cleaning of the part. A safety data sheet (SDS) is available from the manufacturer for use in professional environments and for documenting preventive maintenance protocols in the workshop.
