Printing behaviour
Filaflex 70A prints at a nozzle temperature of around 235 °C on a bed heated to 45 °C, or without heating. Its high flexibility (Shore 70A) makes it a demanding material to print: a suitable extruder, preferably direct drive, is needed to feed the filament without compressing it.
Bed adhesion is strong; a slow, steady print speed is recommended to limit extrusion irregularities.
Properties and applications
With an elongation of around 700%, Filaflex 70A offers high elasticity and good shape recovery. Its polyurethane base gives it abrasion resistance and durability. It is suited to seals, dampers, protective covers, soles, straps, and flexible parts subject to repeated deformation.
