Use
Drywise dries the filament continuously, inline with the printer, relying on smart sensors that drive heating segment by segment: the material is processed under optimal conditions without going through several thermal cycles. Its inline design accommodates any spool size or format, including heavy or large-format spools (3 kg and more).
The dual-action motorised automatic loading eliminates manual feeding and maintains near-zero tension in the filament path, which protects soft and flexible materials from any stretching and ensures superior extrusion consistency.
Software integration
The UltiMaker Cura plug-in automatically inserts the Drywise pre-drying sequence into the G-code: suspending the print until the first segment is conditioned, purging, then launching the main program. Preparation is standardised for all machines and all teams, with no manual adjustment. Version 1.5 also brings a reduced-friction filament path, simplified access to internal components and firmware updates extending the library of pre-tested material profiles.
