Calcination et applications
Chargée à 20 % de cire, la Castable Wax est formulée pour le moulage à la cire perdue. Sa teneur en cendres comprise entre 0 et 0,1 % assure un brûlage net, à basse température et sans résidu, ce qui préserve l'état de surface des pièces coulées. Sa rigidité et sa résistance permettent de reproduire des structures fines telles que les filigranes. En dentaire, elle produit des modèles de coiffes, d'armatures, de couronnes pleines et de châssis de prothèses amovibles ; en joaillerie, elle convient aux pièces délicates et détaillées.
Pour les bijoux plus volumineux, la gamme propose la Castable Wax 40, chargée à 40 % de cire.
Mise en œuvre et post-traitement
La Castable Wax s'imprime en SLA aux résolutions de 25 et 50 µm et ne requiert aucune post-cuisson : il suffit de laisser sécher les pièces avant la coulée. En cartouche 5 L, le matériau est destiné au Resin Pumping System, qui alimente automatiquement le bac et autorise des séries plus longues sans changement de cartouche. Le bac de type LT est recommandé sur Form 2.
