La BioMed Clear Resin est une résine SLA transparente développée pour produire des pièces rigides destinées aux applications biocompatibles. Elle convient notamment aux dispositifs médicaux d’utilisation finale, aux prototypes, moules, gabarits et fixations biocompatibles, ainsi qu’aux modèles de visualisation et de dimensionnement d’implants.
Ce matériau est conçu pour les applications nécessitant un contact prolongé avec la peau, les voies respiratoires ou les muqueuses, ainsi qu’un contact court avec les os, les tissus et la dentine. Les pièces imprimées avec cette résine sont compatibles avec les principales méthodes de stérilisation et bénéficient d’une fabrication dans un environnement certifié ISO 13485.
Post-traitement
Le processus de post-traitement SLA comprend un lavage permettant d’éliminer les résidus de résine présents à la surface des pièces, suivi d’une phase de post-polymérisation nécessaire pour atteindre les propriétés finales attendues pour les matériaux biocompatibles. Le lavage peut être réalisé avec une unité validée par Formlabs ou avec un équipement de lavage ultrasonique adapté.
