Operating principle
The fire Amulette operates with no power supply and no human intervention. A heat-sensitive bulb integrated into the head bursts when the temperature reaches 93 °C, which releases the extinguishing agent and neutralises the start of a fire. The "without relay" version has neither feedback to a technical alarm nor cut-off of an electrical device; versions with relay or with remote control exist separately.
Extinguishing agent and installation
The extinguishing agent is a clean fluid, water-free, non-conductive and non-corrosive, which leaves no residue and preserves electrical and electronic equipment. Installation is done using two screws, with no wiring or configuration, which allows the device to be positioned as close as possible to potential fire-start sources, including in confined spaces.
