Behaviour and use
Nylon is known for its strength and flexibility, but these qualities make it difficult to print without a suitable adhesive: marked warping and poor bed adhesion are common. 3DNYLON is formulated to address these constraints, by ensuring a strong, reliable bond between the filament and the plate, reducing the risk of detachment and improving accuracy layer after layer.
Apply a thin, even layer onto a clean, residue-free plate, then leave to dry slightly before launching the print. Although formulated for nylon, it can also work with other materials, but its performance is optimal on PA.
Care and documents
The plate is cleaned with water or isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to remove adhesive residues; make sure the plate is perfectly dry before applying a new layer. Safety data sheet (MSDS) available in several languages (including French) from the distributor, for integration into HSE procedures and the workshop risk-assessment document.
