Résistance à l'usure et frottement
L'iglidur i150 est enrichi de lubrifiants solides intégrés à la matière, qui réduisent le frottement et l'usure sans lubrification externe. Il combine solidité, ténacité et bonne adhérence inter-couches, ce qui en fait un tribofilament polyvalent pour la plupart des applications de mouvement : paliers lisses, bagues, glissières et pièces frottantes. Il convient aux vitesses de glissement faibles à moyennes, jusqu'à 0,2 m/s.
Ses limites d'emploi concernent la température de service en continu, plafonnée à 65 °C, et les applications très dynamiques : pour ces cas, igus oriente vers d'autres références de sa gamme (i180, J260, A350).
Impression et conformité alimentaire
L'iglidur i150 s'imprime aussi facilement qu'un PLA ou un PETG et fonctionne sur les imprimantes FDM courantes, y compris sans plateau chauffant à condition d'utiliser l'adhésif igus dédié. Des profils matière sont disponibles au téléchargement pour Bambu Lab (X1/P1/H2/P2), Prusa (MK3/MK4/XL) et Ultimaker (S3/S5/S7/Factor 4). Il permet d'imprimer de très grandes pièces, jusqu'à 3 mètres. La conformité au contact alimentaire selon le règlement UE 10/2011 s'applique à la variante blanche ; la certification de la variante noire est en cours.
