Winkle PLA HD is Winkle's standard PLA, made in Spain for 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm FDM printing, on 1 kg spools. It is produced from PLA with 96 % stereochemical purity, residual monomer limited to 0.3 % and a maximum moisture content of 400 ppm, for consistent extrusion and parts free from warping. Diameter is controlled throughout production, and each spool is packed in a sealed bag that protects it from moisture and UV.
It prints at 190 to 230 °C on a bed at 50 to 70 °C, at speeds of 50 to 90 mm/s. Winkle intends it for prototypes, models, figurines and decorative parts, in a wide range of solid colors. It sands and paints easily, and feeds through the Bambu Lab AMS Lite.
