Properties and applications
G-PET combines the strength and durability of ABS with the dimensional stability of PLA: it warps little and remains easy to print. Its good impact resistance makes it a material suited to functional, durable parts.
Odourless throughout the printing process, it lends itself well to post-print finishing, with a finish that can be glossy. It is suited to functional prototyping, technical parts, and components subject to mechanical stress.
Printing behaviour
G-PET prints on a heated bed and shows little warping, which helps with adhesion and dimensional accuracy of the parts. As with most PETG materials, pre-drying the filament and careful retraction settings limit stringing. It is compatible with most FFF and FDM printers.
