Printing behaviour

PEI-1010 prints at a nozzle temperature of 380 °C in a chamber heated to 220 °C, at a speed of around 40 mm/s. These parameters require a high-temperature FDM printer with an enclosed, regulated chamber.

An amorphous thermoplastic, it has a glass transition temperature of 217 °C and controlled dimensional stability, which makes it a consumable suited to technical parts subjected to high thermal stress.

Properties and applications

In addition to its high rigidity and its resistance to solvents and UV, PEI-1010 is flame-retardant, UL94 V0 eligible, and holds the EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR food-contact certifications. These characteristics make it suitable for the electronics, transport and medical sectors, for functional parts and technical prototyping.

Store away from light, moisture and heat in order to preserve the product's properties.

About Kimya

Origine : France
