Nature and curing
IM 2.0 LSR1 resin is a UV-curing acrylate system. In its liquid state, it is a low-viscosity, pale yellow fluid, around 59 mPa·s at 30 °C, with a density of approximately 1.06 g/cm³. Curing is triggered by exposure to UV light, white light, or heat; outside these conditions, the material remains stable during storage and use.
The product belongs to 3DPMolds' IM 2.0 range, dedicated to manufacturing tooling for injection moulding using the FIM (Freeform Injection Molding) process.
Storage and precautions
The product is intended exclusively for industrial and professional use. Keep containers closed in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place, away from frost, heat, and direct sunlight, and away from oxidisers as well as strong acids or bases. Handling requires suitable ventilation and protective equipment: full-face safety goggles, Viton® gloves, and work clothing; PVC gloves are not recommended, as this material absorbs acrylates.
Classified as hazardous under CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008: harmful if swallowed, may cause an allergic skin reaction, causes serious eye damage, and is suspected of causing damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure. Consult the safety data sheet before use.
