Printing behaviour
DuraPro ASA prints at a temperature of 220 to 250 °C on a heated bed of 100 to 110 °C, at a speed of 20 to 100 mm/s. Its formulation limits warping and promotes inter-layer adhesion.
Like all ASA materials, it is best printed in an enclosed chamber and with suitable ventilation, to control shrinkage and extract fumes generated during extrusion.
Properties and applications
DuraPro ASA offers high resistance to UV radiation and weathering, higher than ABS, making it a suitable material for parts exposed outdoors. It retains its mechanical properties and appearance over time, with a matte finish.
Rated UL 94 HB for fire behaviour, it is suitable for functional parts, automotive components, and outdoor applications subject to climatic stress.
